High-stakes peace talks in Islamabad between US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian officials officially concluded without an agreement on April 12, 2026. Despite 21 hours of intensive negotiations brokered by Pakistan, Vance announced the U.S. delegation is leaving after Iran rejected what he described as America's "final and best offer".
