Ministry of External Affairs Weekly Media Briefing on 03 October 2025

New Delhi |Oct 04, 2025 | www.externalaffairs.in

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I welcome you to this press briefing. Let's begin our conversation.

Sidhant, WION: Hi, sir. Sidhant from WION. We have seen a lot of protests in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. There are reports of deaths as well. The internet remains restricted. Any reaction by the Indian Government?

Madhurendra: Sir, mera sawal POJK ko le kar ke hain. jahan par lagatar dekha ja raha hai ki protest Muzaffarabad ki taraf badh raha hai. Lekin jis tarah se human right violations ho rahe hain, jis tarah se Pakistan ke Rangers goliya chala rahe hain log mare ja rahe hain. zair tor pai hamara hissa hai. kya concerns hamare hain? aur kya koi action kya koi steps Bharat ki sarkar le rahi hai?

[Approximate Translation: Question in Hindi] Sir, my question is regarding POJK, where it is being observed that the protest is moving towards Muzaffarabad. But the way human rights violations are taking place, the way Pakistan Rangers are firing bullets and people are being killed. On this matter, what is our position, what are our concerns, and is the Government of India taking any action or any concrete steps?

Pranay Upadhyay: Sir, do sawal hai. Pehla to Madhurendra ke sawal ko hi aage badhana chahunga. POJK ko lekar hamara status kya hai? Wo Bharat ka hissa hai. Wahan ke logo ko lekar Bharat kya manta hai? Aur official status us pe bataiyega.

Dusri cheez yeh ki Canada ke andar ek hindi film screening ke dauran wahan par hinsa hui hai, aur uske baad film ki screening ko band kiya gaya hai Canada ke andar hamare tamam riste ache hone ke bavjud is tarike ki ghatanaye ho rahi hain. Sath hi Canada ne hal hi mein Bishnoi gang ko jo hai terrorist organization ghoshit kiya hai. Jo 26 extradition request thi unka latest abhi status kya hai?

[Approximate Translation: Question in Hindi] Sir, I have two questions. First, I would like to take forward Madhurendra’s question. What is our status regarding POJK? It is a part of India. What does India consider about the people living there? And please clarify the official status on this.

Secondly, in Canada, during the screening of a Hindi film, violence took place, and after that, the film screening was stopped. Despite our overall good relations with Canada, such incidents are happening. At the same time, Canada has recently declared the Bishnoi gang a terrorist organization. What is the latest status of the 26 extradition requests?

Aditya Raj Kaul, NDTV: Sir, Aditya Raj Kaul, from NDTV. Firstly on the Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir only. There are more than a dozen people who've been killed. A lot of human rights violations. Also, there's a long march that's happening from Kotli to Muzaffarabad. So, what is the Indian Government's reaction to the subjugation that's happening there?

Second, recently India won the Asia Cup match and we had Mohsin Naqvi the Interior Minister refusing to give the trophy to the Indian cricket team. How does India look at it? Will India diplomatically raise the issue somehow with Pakistan?

Sahil Pandey, ANI: Sir I am Sahil Pandey, from ANI news agency. Sir, Bangladesh home advisor Jahangir Alam Chaudhary has said the violence in Kagrachari happened with the support from India and the Fascist group. Any response from your side? Thank you.

Brahmaprakash, Zee News: Sir, Brahmaprakash Zee News se. Mera sawal hai sir, abhi Raksha mantri ne Sir Creek ko lekar jo kaha hai ki Pakistan border ke pass jo infrastructure bana raha hai toh kya jankari, kya detail hai? kitna infrastructure Pakistan ne create kiya hai? aur kya is mamle ko diplomatic tarike se bhi Bharat uttha raha hai? Thank you.

[Approximate Translation: Question in Hindi] Sir, this is Brahmaprakash from Zee News. My question is, regarding what the Defence Minister has recently said about Sir Creek—that Pakistan is building infrastructure near the border—what information or details do we have on this? How much infrastructure has Pakistan created, and is India also raising this issue through diplomatic channels? Thank you.

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Okay. First, Sidhant, coming to your question. We have seen reports on protests in several areas of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including brutalities by Pakistani forces on innocent civilians. We believe that it is a natural consequence of Pakistan's oppressive approach, and systemic plundering of resources from these territories, which remain under its forcible and illegal occupation.

Pakistan must be held accountable for its horrific human rights violations.

Humne Pakistan ke kabje wale Jammu Kashmir ke kai ek ilaakon mein virodh pradarshano ki report dekhi hai, jinmein Pakistani balo dwara nirdosh nagrikon par kiye gaye atyachar bhi shamil hain. Hamara manna hai ki Pakistan ke damankari ravaiye aur in khestraon se sansadhanon ki sangatit loot ka swabhavik natija hai. aur in kshetron par uska jabran aur avaidh kabja abhi bhi bana hua hai. Pakistan ko apne bhayanak manav adhikar ullangano ke liye jawabdeh thaharana jana chahiye.

[Approximate Translation: Answer in Hindi] We have seen reports of protests in several areas of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which also include accounts of atrocities committed by Pakistani forces against innocent civilians. We believe that this is a natural outcome of Pakistan’s oppressive conduct and the systematic plundering of resources from these regions, while the forcible and illegal occupation of these territories continue. Pakistan must be held accountable for its grave human rights violations.

Madhurendra isse aapka sawal ka jawab maine de diya hai. Pranay aapka sawal bhi isi ke ird gird tha. Jahan tak Jammu Kashmir aur Ladakh ka sawal hai ye Bharat ke abhin ang hai, rahenge hi, Hamesha se rahe. Wahan ke ye jo kshetra hai hamara abhin ang hai.

Jahan tak aapka sawal Bishnoi gang ko leke hai. Dekhiye, abhi hal hi mein 18 tarikh ko hamare apne rashtriya suraksha salahkar ki mulakat Canada ke rashtriya suraksha salahkar se hui thi. Iske bare mein maine aap logon ko avgat karaya tha. Dono paksho ke beech mein acchi baat chit hui ki kis prakar se dwipkshiye muddo par, khas kar aatankwad ke khilaf, organized crime ke khilaf, dono desh kam kar sakte hain aur sath hi sath kis prakar se jo suraksha sahyog dono deshon ke beech mein chal raha hai us pe aur majbuti kaise laya ja sakta hai. Is mudde par aur sare in sabhi muddo par dono paksho ke beech mein lagatar sampark bana hua hai.

[Approximate Translation: Question in Hindi] Madhurendra — I have already answered your question on this. Pranay, your question was along the same lines. As far as Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are concerned, these are and will remain integral parts of India. These areas are our integral parts.

With regard to your question on the Bishnoi gang; recently, on the 18th, our National Security Adviser met his Canadian counterpart. I had informed you about this meeting, and there was a good discussion on how both sides can work together on bilateral issues, especially against terrorism and organized crime. They also discussed how to further strengthen the ongoing security cooperation between the two countries. Both sides maintain continuous contact on this matter and on all related issues.

The National Security advisor had a meeting with National Security and Intelligence advisor of Canada, Miss Nathalie Drouin on 18th of September 2025. I had given you details of this particular meeting as also there was a Press Release, if I am not wrong. Both sides had held productive discussions as to how we can strengthen bilateral cooperation especially in the areas of counter terrorism, transnational organized crime, and information or intelligence exchanges. They agreed to strengthen security cooperation and further enforce existing mechanisms on engagement. Both sides remain in touch on all these issues.

Aditya on your question on Pakistan occupied Kashmir, I have already answered it. On the question regarding Asia Cup, I think it's a question which you must take to BCCI. They would be in a better position to answer.

Sahil your question regarding some of the allegations that were made in Bangladesh. We categorically reject these false and baseless allegations. The interim government of Bangladesh, as you are aware and we've spoken about it on several occasions, is unable to maintain law and order situation in the country, and has this habit of routinely trying to shift the blame elsewhere. It would do well for them to introspect and conduct serious investigations into the action of local extremists committing violence, arson, and land grab against the minority communities in the Chittagong Hill Tract.

Aur jo log iske piche waha hinsa karne mein aur bhi wardate jo waha hoti hai jabran zameen dakal karne ke piche jo bhi log hain, jo bhi extremist log hain, unke khilaf kadi se kadi karvai honi chahiye. Aur ye sab jitne jo jis crime ki maine baat ki hinsa ki baat ki waha par jo alpasangyak samudaay ke log hain Chittagong Hill Tract mein unke khilaf hota raha hai.

Brahm, Sir Creek ke mamle mein abhi kuch hi ganto pehle maine dekha ki, aapne bhi dekha hoga, hamare Air Force chief aur hamara army chief ne baaten ki hai is par. To unhone jo spashtikaran diya uske aage main kuch nahi kehna chahta hu is pe.

[Approximate Translation: Answer in Hindi] The statement that has come from Bangladesh is completely baseless, and we reject it. As I had mentioned earlier, the interim government there has repeatedly failed to maintain law and order, and whenever such incidents occur, it has been observed that they tend to put the blame on others. We believe there needs to be some introspection on their part, and strictest possible action should be taken against those involved in such incidents — whether it is forcible land grabbing or other such acts — including extremist elements responsible for these crimes and acts of violence. The incidents we have referred to, are especially targeting members of minority communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Brahm, regarding the Sir Creek issue, just a few hours ago, as you may have seen, our Air Force Chief and Army Chief have made statements on this matter. Beyond what they have clarified, I would not like to add anything further at this stage.

Yeshi Seli, Business India: This is Yeshi Seli from Business India. Afghanistan's Foreign Minister is expected to come to Delhi next week. Are there going to be conversations around the Bagram airport? Also, is Prime Minister Keir Starmer expected to visit Delhi this month?

Megha Sharma, NewX: Sir, a related question. When the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan arrives over here in India in the next two weeks, is India also going to raise concerns about this temporary blackout that was imposed with regards to telecom and internet?

And, my second question about the resumption of flights that is happening late October between India and China. Are there more such actions that are likely to happen for resumption of normalization of ties between India and China? Whether it is people-to-people or trade?

Suhasini Haidar, The Hindu: Adding to the question on the visit of the Afghan Taliban regime's interim Foreign Minister. Is India considering shifting its position on recognition of the Taliban regime in line with what Moscow has done, given that you are now inviting him as an honoured guest to Delhi? And will India raise issues of the treatment of minorities, the treatment of women and girls who aren't allowed to go to school in Kabul while he is here?

I just also wanted to ask about whether the MEA has a statement on the US White House's Gaza plan? And, if there is any conversation between Delhi and Washington about a role for India in the reconstruction?

Smita Sharma: Smita Sharma. On the Gaza peace plan, we saw that initial reaction by Prime Minister Modi on a tweet. But there is a severe criticism that is coming in also from large sections of people saying this looks more like a real estate project, really not about Palestinian people. Questions being raised about Mr. Tony Blair with a very controversial past being in that board. Does India have a different view, now that some time has passed, and the fine print and the details that have emerged in that peace plan?

Vijai Laxmi, India TV: Sir, Vijai Laxmi hoon India TV se. Sir, ASEAN summit mein Donald Trump ko bulaya hai, America ke Rashtrapati ko. Kya koi bilateral baat chet Bharat aur America ke beech mein waha par sambhav hai?

[Approximate Translation: Question in Hindi] Sir, this is Vijay Laxmi from India TV. Sir, the U.S. President Donald Trump has been invited to the ASEAN Summit. Is there any possibility of a bilateral meeting between India and the United States on that occasion?

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Okay, Yeshi, first to your question regarding the visit of the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan. All of you would have seen the exemption that has been granted by the UN Security Council Committee for the travel of Afghan Foreign Minister to New Delhi from 9th to 16th of October 2025. This particular information is there in the public domain. We shall keep you updated in this regard.

Yeshi, on the visit that you talked about the UK Prime Minister. We will make an announcement at the appropriate time.

Megha, on the question of the visit of Afghan Foreign Minister, I have already answered. To your question about the flight to China, yesterday we had issued a Press Release and thereafter I understand that commercial activity in this regard has started. This is of course in line with the growing trend towards normalization in the relationship between India and China.

Unidentified Speaker: [inaudible]

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: On that I already answered your question.

Suhasini, On Muttaqi's visit, I have conveyed what I had to. I told you about the exemption that has been granted by the UN Security Council Committee for his travel to New Delhi, and we shall keep you updated in this regard.

On Gaza plan, we have welcomed, as you would have seen. The Prime Minister has welcomed the peace plan announced by President Trump. Smita, again on Gaza peace plan, we have welcomed the plan and that is where we are.

Vijai Lakshmi, ASEAN Summit abhi kuch duri pe hai. Kuch der baad hai. Toh aapko sahi samay par aur uchit samay par hum log aapko jankari denge. Kis prakar ki hamari bhagidari hogi us shikhar sammelan mein.

[Approximate Translation: Answer in Hindi] Vijai Lakshmi, the ASEAN Summit is still some time away. We will inform you at the appropriate time about what kind of participation we will have at that summit.

Huma Siddiqui, StratNews Global: I am Huma Siddiqui, from StratNews Global. Recently, EAM had a meeting with the CELAC countries on the sidelines of UNGA and he mentioned in his post on the Twitter that critical minerals and space cooperation along with other issues were discussed. Can you please share some details about it?

Ileana, TASS News Agency: Good afternoon. Ileana from TASS News Agency. My question is on Russia-India relations in the backdrop of yesterday's speech by Russian President at International Forum in Sochi. He, in his speech, in his answers to questions from the audience, highlighted the vast potential between India and Russia economic cooperation.

At the same time, he pointed at these hurdles which exist like payment issues, logistics. How do you see to address these issues, especially when we are waiting for Russian President in India? Today also is the 25th anniversary of declaration on strategic partnership between India and Russia. So, please some comment on this big jubilee.

Unidentified Speaker: Sir, just wanted to know whether India sought travel exemption for Muttaqi's India visit from UNSC?

Raghavendra Verma: This is Raghavendra Verma from German television ZDF. My question regarding President Putin's statement. He added something extra saying that Indian public would not allow the political leadership to do something which is not good for the country.

And there are two other things regarding Russia. The news about the Russian engines for the fighter planes in Pakistan, and an oil tanker detained in Europe bringing Russian oil to India. Can you comment on this?

Kadamini Sharma, Independent Journalist: Kadamini Sharma, Independent Journalist. Afghanistan ke Taliban ke jo antrim videsh mantri aane wale hain. To kya unko wahi protocol wahi courtsies extend kiye jayenge jo ek recognized government ke hote hain?

[Approximate Translation: Question In Hindi] Kadamini Sharma, Independent Journalist. Regarding the visit of the Afghanistan’s Taliban’s acting Foreign Minister to Afghanistan — will the same protocol and courtesies be extended to him as are normally given to a recognized government?

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Okay. So, Huma, first India - CELAC meeting. Let me tell you the 7th India CELAC meeting or expanded TROIKA meeting, foreign ministers meeting was held in New York on 26th September. The expanded TROIKA includes Colombia which is the current chair of CELAC, Honduras which is the immediate past chair of CELAC, Uruguay the next chair of CELAC, as also Jamaica which is the current chair of CARICOM. From our side, obviously External Affairs Minister participated in the meeting. This format meeting has been going on for over a decade now, if I am not wrong since 2012. Almost 22 countries participated in this India CELAC meeting. They discussed several issues, most of the countries come from the Global South or all of the countries come from the Global South. So, therefore, naturally the conversation also centered around how we can strengthen the voice of Global South in multilateral institutions. Even as the leaders, they talked about reform of multilateral institutions.

Other areas of collaboration such as trade, investment, health cooperation, digital public infrastructure… There is lot of interest in India's experience in this regard, health, pharmaceutical, science and technology, connectivity, infrastructure development. All these issues were discussed. Also, we extend capacity building cooperation and programs to several of these countries including through our ITEC program. That was also discussed. And both sides, India and CELAC members, they want to strengthen this partnership within the rubric of South-South solidarity and Global South solidarity. Education and several other aspects of capacity building programs were also discussed.

External Affairs Minister, on his part, thanked CELAC countries for all the support that they have extended to India within the United Nations as also at several multilateral forums. He also thanked them for the unequivocal support that we received following the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir in April this year. We also invited all these countries to join India's initiatives such as the International Big Cat Alliance, Global Biofuels Alliance, and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure. So, that was an update on India-CELAC meeting.

Ilena, to your question, yes, today is a special day, 3rd of October. On 3rd October 2000, we established India-Russia Strategic Partnership. So, today we are celebrating 25 years of this special partnership. India-Russia, we enjoy a Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. We look forward to strengthening these ties, and we want to strengthen each and every segment that we are together working on … trade issues, economic issues, investment issues, defence relations, science and technology. Both sides are committed. We look forward to strengthening our economic ties as you pointed out. And we look forward to further building on our ties with Russia.

Abhishek, on your question. You would have seen that the UN Security Council committee, they have given an exemption for the Foreign Minister to travel to New Delhi.

Raghavendra, on energy sourcing, our position is very clear as to what is our broad approach. And, I have been talking about it on several occasions. So, I would refer you to my comments made in that regard. On the oil tanker, I think you will have to… I have also seen reports on this. You will have to take your question to people, the authorities who are involved in it. So, they will be in a better position to answer your question.

Kadambini aapka sawal Afghanistan ke antrim sarkar ke jo videsh mantri hai unko leke hai. Jaisa ki maine kaha unko izazat di gayi hai, Suraksha Parishad ke committee dwara, Nai Dilli ki yatra karne ke liye. Aur is mamle mein jab bhi mere paas aur kuch kehne ko hoga aapko batane ke liye hoga use aap se jarur saajha karenge.

[Approximate Translation: Answer In Hindi] Kadambini, your question is about the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan. As I have said, he has been allowed by the UNSC committee to travel to New Delhi. And, when I have more to convey, I will certainly share with you.

Srinjoy: Sir, is a 2+2 with Australia, in Australia likely to happen shortly? And if so, what are the issues that are going to be discussed?

Sanjeev Rathi, UNI - VARTA: Sir main UNI - VARTA se Sanjeev Rathi. Bharat aur Cheen ke beech jo baat cheet ka daur chal aya hai Kazan se lekar, fir Delhi mein, aur fir Tianjin mein. Ab kal fir seedhi udaan seva ka marg bhi prashasth hua hai. Kya hum ye keh sakte hain ki dono deshon ke beech sambandh samany ho gaye hain?

[Approximate Translation: Question In Hindi] Sir, this is Sanjeev Rathi from UNI-VARTA. Regarding the dialogue between India and China — which was conducted in Kazan then Delhi and then in Tianjin And, now with the direct flight route being approved — can we say that the relations between the two countries have returned to normal?

Devirupa Mitra: Hi, Sir. Devirupa from the Wire. I just want to ask a question that Pranay had asked about the Bishnoi gang. You had said that the answer was basically that the NSA had met with his Canadian counterpart 10 days earlier. So was this discussed? Was this brought in the discussions? Is that the implication of your answer?

And, also you mentioned that India and Canada will obviously have deeper interaction on counter-terrorism. So if Canada has declared Bishnoi gang as a terror organization, have they asked for any help from India?

Manas, PTI: Hi, this is Manas from PTI. I just wanted to check with you actually on whether India was briefed before the Gaza peace plan was finalized, either by the US side or the Israeli side. Because, India has been consistently calling for peace and stability in the region.

Hasanul Banna, Madhyamam Daily: Hello, it is Banna from Madhyamam Daily. There is an allegation from the CPI(M), Rajasabha party leader John Brittas that India is exporting drones to Israel to kill the Gaza children. What is your comment on that?

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Okay. Srinjoy, on 2 + 2 with Australia, I don't have an update to share with you. But for sure, I will inform you in this regard what is the latest.

Sanjiv, jah tak Bharat Cheen ke rishton ka sawal hai, kal jaisa ki aapne bataya, kal se dono deshon ke beech mein nagrik Udan ke Kshetra mein ek kadam aage liya gaya hai. Jaisa hum logo ne press vgyapti ke dwara aapko is pe jo update hai usko bataya hai. Aur jaisa ki humne kaha hai ki ye jo agreement hua hai dono deshon ke beech mein, kuch mahino mein chal raha tha ki hum dono deshon ke logo ke beech mein aapsi talmel kaise badhaye, gadjod ko kaise badhaye. To isse dono deshon ko fayda hoga log waha aenge log yaha jayenge tourism ko badhawa milega uske alava business ko bhi badhawa milega, aavajahi aur rishte aur bhi positive direction mein chal rahe hain. Usme aur bhi hum aage badhte rahenge.

[Approximate Translation: Answer In Hindi] Sanjiv, as far as India-China relations are concerned, as you mentioned, yesterday both countries have taken a step forward in the area of Civil Aviation. As we have already informed you through our Press Releases. This agreement had been under discussion between the two countries for several months, focusing on how to enhance relations between the peoples of both nations. This will benefit both countries. People will travel to and fro, tourism will get a boost, and business will also be promoted. The overall engagement and relations are moving in a positive direction, and we will continue to advance further in this regard.

Devi, on Bishnoi gang, I told you that India-Canada has a lot of issues to discuss when it comes to bilateral cooperation. And within that, security cooperation is also an important item and agenda of continuous bilateral collaboration. As I said, trans-national organized crime is a particular concern to both countries. And all countries, in fact, in the world must come together to fight this menace.

Manas, on the Gaza peace plan announced by President Trump, yes, we have welcomed it. I don't have any more details to share, but to say that we would like other stakeholders, all concerned, to come together and strengthen this effort, so that the conflict comes to an end and there is enduring peace in the place. On the Israel question, our position is very clear where we stand and we have been clear and consistent in this regard.

Suhasini Haidar, The Hindu: Follow up on Devirupa’s Bishnoi question. Whether the India-Canada talks are now also discussing the trial in the US. Because, the latest documents filed by the US Department of Justice show that there is Mr. Vikas Yadav who is in Indian custody. It says they plan the killings to suppress Sikh separatist activities. The motive dovetails with the fact that he is an employee of the Government of India. This is in their documents. And, that explains why he did not want to plan the killing of Mr. Panun around the time of Prime Minister Modi's visit to the US. It seems the US Department of Justice is very clearly pinpointing Mr. Yadav working as an employee of the Government of India.

I wanted to know whether this has been discussed with the Canadian authorities as well, because the US Department of Justice says both trials are now about assassination plots by the same people.

Smita Sharma: I just needed one clarification. Is the Indian government addressing Mr. Muttaqi as Foreign Minister or Interim Foreign Minister? And does India have a view of the interception of activists from more than 40 countries on the global Sumud flotilla by Israeli forces, arresting them, detaining them, because these activists have been sailing towards Gaza with aid material including baby formula for the mass starvation happening in Gaza.

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: So Suhasini, on India-Canada cooperation, security cooperation, I have informed you all that is happening. We have also talked about the discussion that happened between the NSAs of the two countries when we had the last meeting between them here in New Delhi. So that is where it is.

On Muttaqi's visit, yes, he is the Foreign Minister of Afghanistan.

And on Israel, I don't want to repeat all that I have been saying all along, what is our position on Israel. So, I would request you to refer to our consistent and clear position on this particular matter.

Niraj, News18 India: Sir, Niraj hoon News18 India se. Halaki aapne bataya hai ki Afghanistan ke videsh mantri ke dore pe update karenge. Lekin sawal ye hai ki Pichli bar jo Afghanistan mein Taliban Sarkar thi usse humne koi sampark nahi rakha tha aur Mauzuda jo Taliban Sarkar hai iske sath Videsh mantri ne bhi baat cheet ki hai, waha ke videsh mantri se phone pe. Sawal ye hai ki Mauzuda Taliban Sarkar ko recognize karne ke liye Bharat ke conditions kya kya hai?

[Approximate Translation: Question In Hindi] Sir, this is Niraj from News18 India. Although you mentioned that you will provide an update on the visit of Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, the question is: earlier, when the Taliban government was in Afghanistan, we did not maintain any contact with them. But now, the current Taliban government has held talks with our Foreign Minister over the phone. So, the question is: what are India’s conditions for recognizing the current Taliban government?

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: Toh jaisa ki maine aapko bataya ki Suraksha Parishad ne ek unko anumati di hai Dilli aane ke liye, aur is pe jo aage aur jo development hoge, jo aur update hoga usko main aapko saaja karunga.

[Approximate Translation: Answer In Hindi] As I have mentioned, the UNSC committee has granted him permission to visit Delhi, and I will inform you of any further developments or updates on this matter.

Unidentified Speaker: [inaudible]

Shri Randhir Jaiswal, Official Spokesperson: So, you know, we have been having conversation with the interim government in Afghanistan. You would have seen the Telecon that had taken place some time back between External Affairs Minister and Foreign Minister Muttaqi. As also we've had conversation between the Joint Secretary in charge and his counterparts in the Afghan side. Recently, when the earthquake happened the same day we were able to transport relief material to Kunar province, and subsequently we sent more relief material via Chabahar. So you know, as I told you that we will keep you updated with the developments that will happen in regard to the visit.

Thank you very much.
