India and Bhutan Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Royal Visit

His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, The King of Bhutan,

His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, The King of Bhutan, accompanied by Her Majesty Jetsun Pema Wangchuck and senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan, will undertake a two-day official visit to India from December 5-6, 2024.

During the visit, His Majesty will hold discussions with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, focusing on strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two nations. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and other senior officials from the Government of India will also meet with His Majesty to deliberate on various bilateral initiatives.

India and Bhutan share a unique and exemplary partnership based on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation. The visit is expected to provide a platform to review ongoing collaborations and explore new opportunities for cooperation across diverse sectors, further solidifying the special bond between the two neighbors.
